Hvidovre Hospital’s Department of Paediatrics is affiliated to the University of Copenhagen and employs 3500 people. Academic staff participates in pre- and postgraduate medical training while conducting clinical or basic research of high standards. The Department of Paediatrics include a neonatal intensive care unit and a section on neuropaediatrics neurological follow-up. The Department of Paediatrics has a large section of neuropaediatrics with experience of developmental evaluation of infants and children.
